Coffee Lover Gift Basket Idea

Sep 17, 2026

If you need a gift idea for someone who’s always carrying around a cup of coffee, this coffee lover gift basket is an easy one to put together. I used a cardboard drink carrier as the base and filled it with a mix of coffee, treats and a few fun extras.

It would be cute for a birthday, teacher gift, thank-you, hostess gift or just because—and it’s easy to adjust depending on how much you want to spend.

What I Put in My Coffee Lover Gift Basket

For this one, I wanted everything to feel coordinated while still including things the recipient would actually use. I included:

Owala Insulated Tumbler– A cute insulated tumbler for keeping their coffee hot or iced drinks cold.

Tree Hut Espresso Martini– A coffee-inspired little self-care treat that fits the theme perfectly. And can you get over how cute there new mini sizes are?!

Torani Mini Fall Flavor Syrups– Mini seasonal syrups for making fall coffee-shop drinks at home.

Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm– A little beauty treat to mix in with all the coffee goodies.

Quilted Pouch Bag Charm– A tiny quilted pouch that’s cute clipped onto a bag or keys.

Trader Joe’s Coffee Lover’s Espresso Beans– Chocolate-covered espresso beans for the coffee lover who likes their caffeine with a little something sweet.

Starbucks Frappuccino Coffee– A ready-to-drink coffee treat that also happens to fit perfectly in the carrier.

Starbucks Gift Card– Because you can never go wrong with money toward their next coffee run. Also, I can’t get over how adorable this iced latte card is!

The drink carrier is one of my favorite parts because it makes the packaging feel like part of the theme. It also gives each item its own little spot, so you don’t need a ton of filler to make the gift look finished.

Make It Your Own

This is an easy gift to customize. Swap in their favorite coffee shop, add a bag of their favorite beans, choose treats you know they love or change the colors to fit the season.

You could also make a smaller version with just a coffee, gift card and treat—or add a few more items if you’re putting together a larger gift.
